On June 23, two 13,000 TEU liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel large container vessels MV Jiacheng and MV Tengcheng, built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for Singapore-based Pacific International Lines (PIL), held a joint naming ceremony, marking a key milestone in the construction of the two eco-friendly ocean-going vessels.
As the supporting supplier for this project, Haixing Group delivered one-stop full-ship lighting and complete marine electrical auxiliary fittings for both new vessels. The supplied products include navigation light controllers, signal light controllers, LED navigation signal lights, LED floodlights, LED canopy lights, LED cabin ceiling lights, various switches and connectors, junction boxes, remote control buttons and matching protective enclosures. Designed for harsh offshore operating conditions featuring heavy salt spray, high humidity, intense vibration and drastic temperature fluctuations, all supporting products from Haixing Group have passed stringent classification society certifications. Boasting long service life with low energy consumption, waterproof and anti-corrosion performance and stable operation, they fully comply with high-standard construction specifications and low-carbon operation requirements for LNG dual-fuel vessels.
The simultaneous completion of supporting equipment supply for two identical large dual-fuel container vessels represents another major breakthrough in the deepened strategic partnership between Haixing Group and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding.
