Contact UsOn the afternoon of June 24, Haixing Maritime Electric Group held a successful certification award ceremony for its DNV cybersecurity type approval. Dai Yueming, DNV Regional Manager for Zhejiang, and Pan Yingjie, Manager of DNV Zhejiang Product Certification Department, attended the event. Fu Wenlong, Chairman & General Manager of Haixing Group, together with Deputy General Managers Li Qin, Huang Dawei and Lin Weiwei, were also present at the ceremony.
DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is one of the world’s leading authorities on maritime cybersecurity certification. The newly certified products are the self-developed HX-NLC Navigation Light Controller and HX-SLC Signal Light Controller. As core critical equipment for ship navigation systems, they serve as the "neural hub" governing all vessel navigation signal operations. With the mandatory rollout of IACS Unified Requirements UR E26 and UR E27, maritime cybersecurity has become a mandatory market access threshold for marine electrical equipment to be installed on vessels and exported overseas.

Haixing’s technical team aligned its product development with stringent international standards. Multiple rounds of iterative optimization were completed covering core security dimensions including unique device identity tagging, hierarchical access control, end-to-end data protection, and resistance against malicious cyberattacks. Following comprehensive, high-standard technical audits conducted by DNV, both controllers successfully passed the DNV cybersecurity certification. Their cybersecurity protection capability has reached internationally advanced levels, with official endorsement from a globally recognized classification society for stable operation and robust cyber resilience.

This DNV cybersecurity certification marks that Haixing’s HX-NLC and HX-SLC fully satisfy the mandatory international maritime cybersecurity entry criteria. The products now hold compliant qualifications for large-scale export to global ship markets, breaking down technical barriers for high-end marine electrical cybersecurity solutions.
Moving forward, Haixing Group will continue to deepen its layout in dual tracks of maritime digitalization and green development. Supported by self-developed core cybersecurity technologies, the Group will advance an integrated "Hardware + Software + Cybersecurity" solution portfolio, and continuously iterate high-performance, highly secure marine equipment. Long-term technical collaboration will be maintained with authoritative international bodies including DNV. Haixing aims to deliver safer, more reliable and fully compliant Chinese solutions to drive digital transformation and low-carbon green development of global shipping, continuously boost the core competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing, and contribute solid strength to the safety and sustainable growth of worldwide maritime industries.
