On December 26, 2024, the deep-sea multi-purpose scientific research and cultural relics archaeology ship "Explorer III," built by Guangzhou Shipyard International under China State Shipbuilding Corporation, was delivered and set sail in Nansha, Guangzhou. "Explorer III" is China's first comprehensive research vessel capable of covering global deep-sea areas (including polar regions) for exploration and supporting manned deep-sea diving in ice zones.

"Explorer III" was officially initiated in December 2022. From design, research and development, construction, sea trials to delivery, the project took only two years. Over 100 units participated in the research and construction of the project, and nearly 10 units were involved in the research and integration of key equipment. Haixing Group is honored to be one of the participating units of the project, undertaking the supply of lighting equipment and accessories for the project, providing comprehensive and adequate lighting for the ship, improving the work efficiency and living comfort of the crew, and ensuring the normal progress of production operations.

Haixing Group has been committed to the research and development of marine engineering products, serving the shipping and shipbuilding industries over the years. It has provided equipment for numerous projects, including the world's largest LNG dual-fuel powered large trailing suction hopper dredger "Xin Hai Jiu," the domestically produced large luxury cruise ship "Aida • Huacheng," the first Asian-built offshore wind farm operation and maintenance mother ship "Zhi Zhen 100" and "Zhi Cheng 60," and the internationally first-class 5000-ton self-propelled full azimuth crane ship. In the future, Haixing Group will continue to develop high-tech, high-value-added ship lighting products that meet market demands, contributing to the development of China's marine engineering endeavors.
