Looking back at 2024, Haixing Group has experienced a magnificent journey in the maritime equipment industry, enduring trials and tribulations while also achieving glorious honors and setting new records in operational performance. The company has implemented a series of cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancing measures. On the one hand, by implementing technological upgrades and equipment renewal, we have significantly improved production efficiency and product quality while reducing production costs. On the other hand, we have implemented digital management, improving the level of information management in research and design, manufacturing data management, scheduling management, production dispatch management, inventory management, and quality management, achieving the dual goals of management and efficiency.
This year, we have forged ahead like the resilient seabirds, navigating the vast “ocean” of the marine engineering field, continuously shuttling between major shipping ports and shipyards. We have equipped the world's largest large-scale dredger “Xin Hai Xun” with an LNG dual-fuel power system; the second domestically produced large luxury cruise ship “ Adora Flora City”; Asia's first offshore wind power operation and maintenance mother ship “Zhi Zhen 100” and “Zhi Cheng 60”; the leading 5000-ton self-propelled full-rotation crane ship; the world's largest 10800 PCTC; a high-specification offshore mobile medical center - a large hospital ship; a new energy eco-friendly 319,000DWT “Ammonia-Ready” VLCC; the world's most powerful pure electric tugboat 5400HP “Yun Gang Dian Tuo Er Hao”; and completed the delivery of 10 container ships with a capacity of 15,000 TEU built by Samsung Heavy Industries for Evergreen; among many other projects.
This year, we continued to promote the adjustment of the industrial structure, expanding our product range from traditional products such as marine lighting, offshore lighting, marine electrical appliances, and lifesaving/firefighting equipment to new fields including cable connection devices, yacht lighting, fishery lighting, LED light sources, control power supply devices, and electrical control system devices. Keeping pace with the innovative development of the technological era, seizing opportunities, increasing R&D investment, and facing challenges head-on, we have developed over 30 new products, including LED navigation lights with light decay detection functions, ship mast arch-shaped stealth navigation lights, three-color signal lights, laser light source long-distance searchlights, explosion-proof warning lights, LED light sources for ships, and LED control devices. These new products not only possess advanced technological performance but also achieve new breakthroughs in design and functionality, providing customers with a more convenient and efficient usage experience.
In addition to innovations in the traditional lighting field, we are also focusing on the broader fields of fishery lighting and aquaculture lighting systems. With the continuous development of the fishery and aquaculture industries, the demand for lighting is becoming increasingly diverse. Therefore, we have developed new products such as LED fish aggregation lights and aquaculture lighting systems. These products not only improve the work efficiency of the fishery and aquaculture industries but also make positive contributions to energy conservation and environmental protection, promoting the sustainable development of the ocean engineering industry.
While developing new products, we have obtained 3 invention patents, 21 design patents, 12 utility model patents, 1 software copyright, and 2 work registration rights. Many new products have passed provincial-level acceptance tests, among which the explosion-proof ceiling light has been rated as the “First (set) equipment in key areas of Wenzhou’s equipment manufacturing industry”. The upgrades of numerous products and the innovative development of new products have met the increasingly diversified market demands, establishing Haixing as a benchmark enterprise in the marine and offshore lighting market.
This year, Haixing Group obtained 7 type approval certificates from the China Classification Society (CCS) (covering a total of 58 product categories); 16 domestic explosion-proof certificates (covering a total of 40 product categories); and 4 international IECEX explosion-proof certificates (covering a total of 10 product categories); 2 RINA classification society MED certificates (covering a total of 23 product types). These various certificates obtained from authoritative domestic and international certification bodies are a testament to the reliability of Haixing's product quality.
This year, we have been selected as a national level specialized and innovative 'Little Giant' Enterprise; and have been approved as Zhejiang Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and Provincial Industrial Design Center (Haixing Maritime Electric Group Ship Lighting Industrial Design Center). We also have been rated as a high-growth industrial enterprise in Wenzhou City for 2024 and a meritorious enterprise in Yongjia County. We have successfully passed the re-evaluation for the National High-tech Enterprise and the National Specialized and Innovative 'Little Giant' Enterprise. Our efforts have been recognized and positively evaluated by higher government departments, and our qualifications and brand reputation have been qualitatively improved.
This year, the company has actively practiced a specialized and refined business approach while collaborating with domestic and international markets for coordinated development. Established business cooperation with many well-known shipyards in South Korea in the international market. Provided lighting fixtures and electrical products for various shipbuilding projects in countries such as Russia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Dubai. The product quality has received high praise from customers, pushing Haixing products into the overseas market and laying a solid foundation for establishing a globally recognized brand. Export volume has increased by 40% compared to the same period last year, and Haixing's international influence continues to rise.
This year, Haixing Group, on its journey of self-growth, has always been concerned about society, actively engaging in public welfare undertakings, gathering love and warmth through small actions, and taking solid and warm steps in both self-improvement and social contribution. We have donated over 200,000 yuan for the protection and restoration of the Fu Xiang Temple in Shanxi, and our contributions to social welfare have exceeded 1 million yuan. We have always adhered to the path of common prosperity, which is the source of our Haixing people's struggle.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are filled with confidence and hope, while also fully aware of the long and arduous journey ahead. In the new year, the company will continue to uphold its original mission of “creating value for customers and providing a platform for employees,” continue to drive development through innovation, build the brand with quality, and to be market demand-oriented, so as to deeply cultivate niche markets and enhance core competitiveness. With the spirit of hard work, igniting the fire of youth, and not wasting the precious years of youth, this is the mission and responsibility that our Haixing people strive for.
